@howitworkssss: Yes — parrot diapers, also known as bird flight suits or bird nappies, are very real, and surprisingly popular among bird owners who want to give their pets more freedom around the house. These tiny harness-like garments come with an attached pouch that catches droppings, allowing parrots to perch on shoulders, explore furniture, or even take short flights indoors without creating a mess. The design is clever but delicate — soft materials and adjustable straps ensure the bird can still move comfortably while staying clean. Owners typically wash or replace the liners regularly, treating it much like a baby’s diaper routine. Still, opinions are divided. Some see it as a smart, humane way to balance cleanliness and companionship, while others believe birds are happiest without any restraints. It’s one of those modern pet innovations that sparks both fascination and debate.

ill never understand why people cant just choose less exotic birds that can handle the environment we live in and keep an outdoor aviary or flight pen. instead they clip wings and make them shit on themselves. . .
