Kevin Keegan won it twice... Michael Owen won t when I was a kid. I'm sure Charlton won it and there's probably more. kane isn't even the first Englishman to win it whilst playing for a German team because Keegan changed teams in the summer so was technically a Hamburg player when he won it even though it was for his actions at Liverpool the previous season that won it for him.

What’s wrong with the question? It was before the ballon d’or was announced and Lamine Yamal was still very much in the running. Harry Kane who actually won the balloon d’or also won striker of the year, didn’t mean young player or soy were ever a consolation prize, they are just additional ones. Lamal will eventually win, it just wasn’t his year this year.
