there's only been one character of mine that I've truly hated and it's cause he was a joke character I used Only because the campaign was supposed to be a short 10 sessions MAX. we're at session 37 and I successfully killed him off at 32 🙏

In my defense, I declared my class first (warlock), and then two other players rolled up with a wizard and a bard. I feel so useless not being the best at magic nor the best at social checks. Genuinely had to change my subclass to Pact of the Blade to get anywhere remotely unique.

My only character that went all the way to lvl 20 was a sorcerer I made after I had Two of the most tragic unlucky PC deaths in a month span. I was so angry and spiteful that I chose not to do like anything for his backstory and he goes from lvl 8 to lvl 20 and he had the personality of a cardboard cutout. Wish I put more effort into his character but he got characterized by my mean and tactical mindset I was stuck in outside the game. Just dreadfully boring to RP and had no stakes or backstory.

this is why we proficiency max on rogue so you never get to complain at level 11 you can't roll below a 10 in proficient skills and if you go out of your way you can get proficiency in 16 skills and expertise in 9 so in half your good skills are like minimum dirty 20 which is convenient
