dec 31 1978...I was 6 yrs old....me...my mom.my dad watching the ball drop...ay midnite...he bent over n kissed her...never saw it before...no yelling no fighting...no cops called...Thats my favorite day....still to this day.

My 14th bday when my mom surprised me with finally getting me the dog I had been wanting for years. Every year since I was maybe 7-8 years old she would ask what I wanted for my bday and I always said the same thing. A puppy. Specifically a Pomeranian. That day when she came home from work, she called me and told me to come out to the car to help her bring in groceries or something. When I went to the car to help her she said it’s on the other side, I opened the door and there was this tiny little fluffy puppy.

In grade school it was a pretty small school so we didn’t have a cafeteria. But every Thursday was Hot Dog day. They’d sell us a hotdog lunch with chips and a carton of milk. It was my favorite day of the week! ❤️😂
