Started “faking drinking” with my ex, (non alcoholic wine decanted into normal wine bottle) I was stone cold sober but I’d act like I was relaxed and inebriated etc-literally the next morning he would say things like “you embarrassed yourself so bad last night, I was mortified-you need to call and apologise to all our friends” 👀👀👀 #stopthewedding

I’ll tell people their “lie tell” and it’s the exact opposite of their actual lie tell and see if they consciously try to “fix it” and that’s how you figure out when people are lying to you. For example: “you squint when you lie” and that person will do their hardest not to squint and probably make their eyes bigger to avoid giving away that they’re lying.

I have a really excellent memory and I keep receipts. I’m an auditor so it’s my literal job. He HATED me for it. He would bring it up like it was a character flaw in arguments and in couples therapy.

I like to collect cool tea mugs. I have gotten some from all over the world. My ex husband starting "accidentally" breaking my very favorite ones. Ones that could not be replaced. Did he ever accidentally break any plates, or regular cups? No he did not. Then when I would get upset he would go on about how I am so materialistic and he's not at all.

My ex husband was so bad that I started recording conversations or making notes so I could protect myself later, since I KNEW it would come up again and he’d say “I never said that” and when he found out he was pissed. And I said “you should be more concerned about why your wife feels the need to protect herself in future fights” divorced him this year.
