as a brazilian:
1. create a channel to organize actions nation wide
2. Block every right-wing propagator to minimize their reach
3. post, repost, download and repost as many videos you can to maximize reach, flooding social media so you can not be silenced
4. go outside too if it's safe.

here's my advice: don't make a No Kings movement, make a Universal Healthcare movement.
Keep at it until you get it.
Pick the next thing you want the most and get to it again.

Also Brazil’s voting system is very different than ours: theirs is popular vote, and it is MANDATORY to vote. You get fined if you don’t. If this was the case in the US, republicans would always lose

not the point but it was more about national sovereignty and maintaining democracy and rights than "saving the Amazon" even though it was always part of Lula's agenda. I dont get why USians focus so much on that.

also remember to stick with your community. when they shut down the busses did we just say "to each their own"? no we used our resources to drive anyone that needed it to the voting booths

Another one: As someone who flipped the votes of a good portion of my family who voted for Bolsonaro in the first round, what helped me and some of my friends was understanding without judgment why they voted for him (most of them just out of opposition to Lula), studying his actual proposals, and speaking their language (we even used AI for this, despite being against it).
