The Modern Reality
Today, these old rules are entirely outdated. In modern fashion, piercing only your left ear carries no specific meaning about your sexuality. Men of all sexual orientations pierce their left ear, right ear, or both simply based on personal style and facial symmetry.
It’s an outdated code bro. In the 1980s and 1990s, a piercing in the left ear was sometimes said to mean a man was straight while the right ear meant he was gay. This code no longer applies.
