A little bit more about me… 🤍 There was a time when I looked in the mirror and genuinely didn’t recognise the woman looking back at me. Four pregnancies. Losing someone incredibly close to me. Pouring everything I had into being a mum, a wife and keeping life moving… somewhere along the way, I completely lost myself. The weight crept on. My confidence disappeared. I felt uncomfortable, unhappy and, more than anything, completely out of control. Then, at the end of 2024, something changed. I realised I needed to search right down to the depths of myself, find the old Liv and bring her back to life. Not because I needed to be smaller. Because I wanted to LIVE again. My children deserved a mum who could run around the park with them. Who didn’t sit on the sidelines because she felt uncomfortable in her own body. My husband deserved the woman who would grab him and dance around the kitchen without thinking twice. And I owed it to myself to find the woman I’d somehow forgotten was still in there. Fast forward to today… I play on the park with my babies. I dance in the kitchen with my husband. I make memories without worrying about hiding from the camera. And most importantly, I’m learning to love myself in the way I always should have. 🤍 The journey isn’t over. I don’t think these journeys ever really are. But sometimes I look back at old photos and it hits me just how much of myself I’d lost. And then I look at myself now and realise how much I’ve regained. Not just physically. My confidence. My energy. My happiness. My spark. Me. The old Liv wasn’t gone after all. She just needed someone to fight for her.
