Eating “clean” gets a lot easier when you stop trying to make every meal perfect and start building meals you actually look forward to eating 🥹🤍 This carousel is basically my version of simple, realistic fitness nutrition: enough protein to support training, carbs when I want energy, fruits and veggies for volume and micronutrients, and room for foods that are just there because they taste good. A few ideas from this week: 🍌 Greek yogurt banana toast + crispy eggs — sweet, savory and super satisfying ⚡ Banana + honey rice cakes — an easy pre-lift carb option when you want something light before training 🥩 Beef, egg & potato bowl — hearty post-workout comfort food with protein + carbs 🍠 Beef, sweet potato & veggie power plate — one of those simple meals you can repeat without getting bored 🍪 And yes… something sweet can fit too. Healthy eating does not require pretending you never want dessert. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that your meals don’t need to look “perfect” to support your goals. A useful formula is simply: protein + carbs + produce + a fat source + something you genuinely enjoy Then adjust the portions around your own hunger, training and goals. You also don’t need a completely different menu every single day. Find a handful of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks you love, keep the ingredients around, and rotate them. That boring little habit makes consistency so much easier. Save this for the next time you’re standing in the kitchen thinking, “I want to eat better but I have no idea what to make.” 🤍 📲 Workit App can help you stay consistent with your workouts, activity and healthy habits while you work toward your fitness goals. Which one would you make first — the banana toast, pre-lift rice cakes, or the beef bowl? 👀 #healthyeating #highproteinmeals #mealideas #fitnessfood #healthyrecipes
