Sometimes you have to realize that caring about someone more than they care about you can slowly become exhausting. You find yourself constantly wanting to message them, checking your phone hoping they’ll reach out, thinking about what to say just to keep the conversation going, while they respond with short, dry replies that make you feel like you’re bothering them. You start doing the most for someone—giving them your time, your attention, your energy, always being there when they need you—while wondering why that same effort never seems to come back to you. And the hardest part is knowing that you would do so much for them without thinking twice, but they might not even realize how much you’re putting into the relationship. Eventually, you have to stop chasing the same energy you keep hoping they’ll give you. Caring isn’t a bad thing, and loving people deeply isn’t something you should be ashamed of, but you shouldn’t have to constantly prove your place in someone’s life. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is step back, stop forcing conversations, stop overthinking every reply, and let their actions show you where you truly stand. If they care, you won’t always have to be the one reaching out. If they want you around, you won’t have to constantly fight for their attention. And if they don’t, as painful as that realization might be, you have to let yourself move forward instead of draining yourself trying to make someone care. You can still love and care about someone while accepting that you deserve relationships where the effort goes both ways.#fypシ゚viral #fypツ #peace #movingon #MentalHealth
