full review below ~ cute cafes/bakeries that are all in the same area 📍 MILLI MATCHA milli matcha is a cafe that specializes in matcha and recently opened up in old town pasadena. the space is simple and straightforward with minimal seating. it’s easy on the eyes, and honestly is a place for grab and go. i tried their hibiscus coconut cloud, which coconut water with hibiscus syrup and topped with a matcha cream. i found it to be delicious, refreshing, and a drink i would come back for if i was in the area. 📍 MIOPANE if you love asian-inspired bakeries, miopane is one to add to your list. this taiwanese bakery takes familiar bakery staples and gives them a fun twist. i tried their maple glazed green onion croissant and sour cream and onion bagel. both were delicious, but i preferred the croissant more. it’s definitely not your typical bagel shop (or taiwanese bakery for that matter), but i love seeing more asian flavors make their way into LA’s food scene. next time i’ll have to come back and try their drinks. 📍 SALTED BUTTER COMPANY salted butter has been on my list for a while, and as someone who appreciates good design and branding, i was already sold on the visuals before even trying the pastries. salted butter leans more traditional with its baked goods, focusing on classic pastries made with quality ingredients. i got the fig danish and chocolate chip cookie. i also tried one of their seasonal fall drinks, and while you could definitely taste the flavor, it was just a little too sweet for my liking. #losangeles #pasadena #victorialoicoffeeguide #losangelescafe
