My late grandfather was rich and passed my father RM 1 million in shares in 1989. It was supposed to be used for my brother and myself for our education. My Dad squandered that money away, I qualified for UM Medicine, my Dad promised to stop smoking but reneged on that promise. He used to shout at me when I asked for uni fees. Only RM 2500 per year. I had to work and use the money from my angpows to pay for uni. Now he wants bragging rights and still brags that I got to medical school because of him. STPM 5As is by din of my efforts, not his.

forgive them. not bc they deserve it, but bc u deserve peace. how? when u forgive, ur letting go of that grudge in ur heart. ur finally putting out that fire thats been burning in ur chest for so long, and when u let go of the past, ull be at peace.
