YOU DON’T REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE UNTIL WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS TESTED. 👀🔥 Y’ALL. God showed me something SO GOOD about the purpose of trials and tribulations! James 1:2-4 tells us that the testing of our faith produces endurance, and Romans 5:3-4 shows us how suffering produces endurance, character, and hope. But here’s what really got me… It’s one thing to SAY you believe God. It’s another thing for that belief to go through the fire and STILL STAND. 🔥 You say God is your Provider, but when the bills are due and the money isn’t there, do you still believe He’ll provide? You say God is your Healer, but when the diagnosis comes, do you still believe He can heal? See, pressure has a way of revealing what we TRULY believe. And God showed me that trials can serve TWO purposes: 1. DIAGNOSIS. They reveal where our faith actually is. Where we trust Him and where we’re still struggling to surrender. 2. TRANSFORMATION. God doesn’t just expose the areas where our faith needs strengthening. He uses those very circumstances to develop it! Because as you walk through those trials WITH Him, you have opportunities to experience His faithfulness in ways you never have before. And now you’re not just saying God is faithful because somebody told you. YOU KNOW BECAUSE YOU’VE EXPERIENCED HIM FOR YOURSELF! 😭🙌🏾 That’s how faith becomes proven. That’s how endurance develops. That’s how you become increasingly persuaded that God is who He says He is! So don’t despise the process.
