I don’t chase people, beg for attention, or force anyone to stay in my life. If you want to be here, be here because you genuinely want to, not because I asked you to. I’ve learned that not everyone deserves access to me, my time, or my energy. I can care about someone without losing myself for them, and I can walk away from anything that no longer brings me peace. My silence doesn’t mean I’m weak, and my distance doesn’t mean I care less. Sometimes, it simply means I’ve finally learned to put myself first. I don’t compete, I don’t compare, and I don’t seek validation. I know my worth, and I will never lower my standards just to make someone else feel important. At the end of the day, I would rather stand alone with my self-respect than stay somewhere I have to beg to be valued. I know my worth, and that’s exactly why I don’t need anyone’s approval to feel complete.
