@leokatiecbt: OCD can make reassurance-seeking sound repetitive from the outside, even when what the person is really communicating is fear, doubt, and exhaustion. "I know I've asked before" may really mean the doubt still feels real. "Just one last question" can mean they are desperate for relief. "Can you check for me?" may come from feeling unable to trust their own mind in that moment. The words may sound like requests for certainty, but underneath them there can be a much deeper need: learning how to tolerate the fear without needing someone else to make it disappear. #ocd #reassuranceseeking #ocdawareness #intrusivethoughts #ocdrecovery
