@globalnewsenglish: Dozens of Israeli fighter jets reportedly flew through Syrian and Iraqi airspace toward Iran's border in a long-range sortie carried out just days before Israel's election, raising fears of a dangerous miscalculation. Israel reportedly described the mission to Washington as a training and deterrence exercise, but some US and regional officials warned it could have triggered an Iranian response. The operation comes amid reports of a widening dispute between Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief Eyal Zamir over military moves involving Iran. #iran #israel #netanyahu #mojtabakhamenei #syria
