I grew up a few houses down.. my aunt & cousins still live there. one of my baby cousins was just getting home from work about 10 minutes before this happened. It's the Projects. We used to call it PM. they kicked out a lot of the previous tenants years back and they renovated. when I was growing up next to PM, whenever they saw cops, they would run and sometimes throw their drugs and even a gun once in our bushes. looks like not much have changed.

i was just in that area before it happened and noticed a heli staying in one spot for a while once i got home which is like 3mins away. i wondered wat happened and figured i would hear about it on the news sooner or later

Nothing has changed in Elizabeth. Even though I love my city, I moved out with my kids in 2010 because I refused to let them become another statistic.
