This is very sad...🥺🙁 you can tell from her voice she is hurt. My grandma used to live in Salt River, a few houses away from the circle. Her children are buried in Maitland cemetery. They never reached the age of four. During apartheid, Black children were denied the care and attention they deserved. My grandfather’s brother served in World War II and was paid in cans of tuna. Imagine serving your country and having your contribution valued so little. Yhooo South African history 😭😭😭
