@samadi_g: Been having a bit of a tiring few weeks and desperately needed to get away from it all. And who knew the perfect little escape was just 1.5 hours from Colombo?! Ended up finding the prettiest little spot by the river (all to ourselves), and I kid you not, the water was SO cool and healing! The little rapids were basically a natural jacuzzi, and I could’ve happily sat there for hours. Some absolutely banging Sri Lankan rice and curry for lunch, a little adventuring, barely any time on my phone, and a whole lot of doing absolutely nothing but enjoying being out in nature.
