Don’t try and catch her, if you play her game she will win. Be above her, learn from this and cut it off at the head calmly tell her the truth. “You have been sharing my information with the family so I am going to stop sharing stuff with you” then stop telling her anything. She won’t be able to make up any lies about why your mad, you told her. When she comes up and acts like you abandoned her she will already know why.

I have a sister like that. I realized that strategizijg to catch her and all that was just playing the game. I had to stop playing and hear the real message. She doesn't love me. She No one treats someone like that if they want them in their lives. I have to love myself and protect myself. Low contact and grey rocking.

Tell her a big lie so she can go back and tell the family. Get receipts that you told her and receipts proving it was a lie then reveal it all to the family and tell them how you confided in her as a sister but she told everyone your business to make you look bad. If they are smart, they’ll understand the betrayal.

Don’t tell her anything. People who talk always talk. No confrontation will end it. They deny or apologize, say they’ll never do that to you, then turn right around and do it again and agin and again. I’d feed her a bunch of bs and never tell her another real private matter that you want ket private. I have family that does this same thing and I’ve repeatedly told them how much it bothers me and that I want privacy resected, but it has never changed. It took me 30 yrs to finally be guarded enough to not talk about things with family members, and a lot of grief about it over the yrs trying to understand why they do it and forgive them for it, but a loose mouth can’t be tightened and that was my lesson…don’t let it take you as long as it took me to realize this. I call my family members who do it a wind tunnel; everything that goes in their ears goes right back out their mouths. You don’t owe her any info and if she repeatedly violates your trust, you should find a different way to vent or get things off your chest, or whatever drives you to tell her things. Talking to a pet would be better than talking to someone who lacks respect for your privacy…at least a pet won’t tell anyone else.
