My son had Kawasaki earlier this year when he was 1 year old. Exact same thing as this. 4 ER visits over the course of 3 days, his fevers got up to 105 and wouldn't go below 103 for 5 days. There was even a strep test done and antibiotics given. But finally they did an echo and saw the inflammation around his heart. We caught it and did IVIG at day 6. No lasting damage thank goodness but I have never been so scared in my life.
