I was ghosted about a month ago by a 50 year-old man (I’m 46) after four months of dating, directly before I was having surgery. I finally text him this weekend telling him what a fucked up thing that was to do. Zero regrets. The anxiety about it was completely gone after that.

Well cutting the cord and still not getting a response after already being ghosted would prob annoy me more so I’d just remove them on social media once they go silent

I had a guy do this after actively pursing me. Multiple dates. Expensive ones! Day trip to blue ridge etc. very thoughtful convos. He then ghosted me for a week and I finally reached out honestly some what concerned he died lol. But when I found out he was ok, I was just like why would you do that? It’s just cruel and not ok. And his reasoning was he felt I was going to use him as a stepping stone. 🤯 and he had another girl he liked but he also liked me and wasn’t sure what to do. Like wtf - just have a conversation. He owned how low it was of him but it was over in my mind, regardless. It’s just so immature and cruel to ghost someone. His loss!!

After 8 months the distance started, the “I’m busy”, the “I don’t feel like myself lately” and then ghosted 9/17/25 for 5 months… then came back hot and heavy the day after my birthday. The distance started again in July, same excuses, etc and ghosted a second time 8/30/26. Same pattern, same excuses, even the same time of year…twice now. But he doesn’t think he does anything wrong…

If you are waiting to be 👻 you are late to the party, the second they are only trying to be sexual and/or not making consistent plans you have to give them the HR “I’m not accepting no bare minimum, step up or sit down so I can meet my husband”!.👌🏻

This happened to me. He said a bad break up with “girlfriend” I said sounds more like a divorce than a break up. I was right. Done, he won’t stop chasing. Luckily I found out within a few weeks. Ask the right questions or just move on. I luckily never got attached like he supposedly did

What if you cut the cord for yourself without a text? The cord cutting is for the person being ghosted. The person ghosting is a coward & not worthy of any further energy.
