I just always fed my babies room temperature formula and warmed up breast milk slightly but running it under warm water.

I bought a “coffee” pot off Amazon to keep water warm for the day and would just scoop formula. 1) because I saw the same thing you did and 2) because I saw that mold growth can accumulate in the baby brezza. The coffee pot is a life saver and is so easy to clean!

Test it to see, but personally I would only use it to warm the water. I would want to know exactly what my child is consuming so I would measure out each scoop.

Test it with the plastic bag. I saw the same tik tok, spiraled and tested it mine was perfect ratio! You are not alone lol

I wouldn’t trust it sadly. I feel so bad for the parents that have them. There’s also a lot of hate out there for these parents which is insane too.

Definitely test the brezza (I love it and haven’t had any issues), but totally understand the fear of it not being accurate. I also deep clean mine once a week - a lot of people don’t realize that you can take all the parts apart to wash each piece that touches formula individually (sounds harder than it is, haven’t had any issues with mold). A warm water dispenser is also a great idea but make sure it’s a glass one and not plastic, I noticed that many of the warm water dispensers on the market are plastic!

before you panic, perhaps test your machine putting plastic where the formula dispenses to see how much has actually been coming out

Hi,
Three quick things to check:
1) Using a plastic bag or thick saran wrap is not accurate- it can block the funnel and affect results. Instead, use thin plastic wrap. Placing plastic wrap between the funnel and its cover improves accuracy—but this method is only reliable when testing 3 oz or less. Any larger amount won’t fit properly, as there isn’t enough space within the plastic-wrapped funnel to accommodate all of the formula.
2) The funnel should be cleaned and fully dried every 4 bottles.
3) Double check you’re using the correct formula setting for your specific brand (Formulas all behave a little differently, and we test them all constantly to ensure the settings are correct for each)
We know there’s a lot of info out there, and not all of it’s right. If you want the full breakdown and correct way to perform accuracy testing, head to formulaproinfo.com. Our customer care team is available 7 days a week to assist with any questions or concerns.
