@dailymail: A man in Spain has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after setting fire to a cafe when staff told him they had run out of mayonnaise and ketchup. The 50-year-old returned to the venue with a bottle of gasoline and set fire to the counter, forcing customers and employees to flee. Two workers suffered minor injuries. He admitted arson in court and paid €9,245 ($10,800) in compensation for the damage, helping reduce his sentence from the 11 years initially sought by prosecutors. Mayonnaise brand Hellmann's has also pledged to help cover the cafe's repair costs. The man is additionally banned from approaching the venue for 10 years and must pay a further €360 ($420) in fines. #spain #mayonnaise #ketchup #news #europe
