@localsportsfanatic: Apparently the POS Eagles announced Hurts would be shut down for the season as a result of the clotting issue, which was discovered BEFORE he was allowed to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London and travel back to the United States with his team. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester is demanding answers from the NFL on how the Philadelphia Eagles handled quarterback Jalen Hurts’s blood clotting issue, which led to the end of his season last week. This is the SAME way her husband died, so she's extremely passionate about bloodclots and why Jalen's life was put in danger. There is NO way you can justify playing this man. The Eagles organization doesn't care about you. This man could've died. They only care about dollars and getting a return on their investment. Even if it means the player dies. I totally agree! I am a lifelong eagle fan,born and raised in Delco, several years living in both Center City and South Philly, 20th and Snyder Baby! I am appalled at the way this has been handled. I have had DVT's pulmonary embolisms a transischemic attack and almost died from blood clots I can't imagine trying to play a football game through that and flying seven hours! Just disgraceful
