I live in queens, haven’t heard a call to prayer ever, and I live relatively close to a mosque. The Islamophobia is just insane, like how are people so hateful?? I need Christians to understand that Christianity is a middle eastern religion just like Islam

Thank you for telling us. I wasn’t really worried about what the prayer was because I’m not a Muslim. I never even thought about it. It didn’t bother me. I think it’s a very beautiful sound.

I grew up in a Muslim country, my grandfather’s house was next to the church they used to ring a bell and I loved it no one in that neighborhood had a problem with it so I don’t understand why people make a issue of something that beautiful, calming and spiritual.

There’s a mosque on the corner of the street my employer is on. I can barrrrrrrelyyyyy hear the call to prayer when they play it. When I do, it’s really comforting; I think it’s the cadence of the cantor. 😌
