I get that it’s the rules but if you’ve ever played football you know in real time it’s easier as a defender to instinctively lead with your shoulder but naturally as a runner trying to protect the ball and brace its more instinctual than anything

I understand the helmet contact and the concern for player safety but Ocho said it best he said there’s only one thing a rb can do when a defender is loading up to hit them and that’s lower your level and brace for impact so if the nfl wants to act like this then damn near everyone should be fined
