I think an issue people forget is like, religion isn’t just some book of morals, there are people that believe that those events happened and that’s what will happen when they pass, and people need to have the free will to believe what they like there. I’m not religious personally, but I’ve spoken to many people who are and they can’t just stop believing in something

Hot take,alll religion must go because all religion is a fake made up explanation for something we do not understand and therefore oppresses all of us from focusing on the actual reality in front of us that we know. All religion will lead to some form of oppression even if that oppression is only the knowledge of what’s actually in front of us.

theres no such thing as “the” patriarchy, when people say the patriarchy they most commonly refer to systems in western countries. the patriarchy within christianity is not the same as the patriarchy of society, it is very possible to be against one but not the other. before you say religion influences social patriarchies, societal hierarchies are not only influenced by religion, but by the economy too. capitalism has greater control, influence and use for the patriarchy than religion. if you truly want to be against modern patriarchy you have to be against its main wielder
