I just moved here a few months ago and it's so annoying. It seems like no matter where you go you have to cross tracks at least once. Over where I am you could get stopped by the same train 2 or 3 times depending on the direction you're going.

Actually, you can get around the train just go under the bridge at Newhall. It’s the only way to get past the train but by the time you turn around and go back and go around to get to it, you might as well wait for the train.
