My sons secondary school refused him entry to 6th form, as he wasn't "intelligent enough" He switched schools and aced his A levels. He's just about to finish his PhD. His work will save millions of lives. His original school is now in special measures and had to close it's 6th form.

Similar situation Mr Hammond told me I’d be lucky to flip burgers in McDonalds. I actually went back to school to visit a different teacher after my first tour in Iraq to do a presentation and the look on his face was priceless. I now work on the Air Ambulance. Shame on all the teachers that doubt but massive respect to the ones that believe in you 😳

One of my daughter's teacher's told her the same, yet she has just passed phase 2 and on to deployment with the Royal Navy, all by the age of 18 as well.. She did say she would go back to her old school one day to see her teacher and show her that she was destined for bigger things that the teacher couldn't even comprehend 🚢🌏 ⚓️

My teacher told me and my girlfriend at the time that we should break up. Apparently it was a bad relationship and wouldn't work after school. Here we are 25 years later and 2 children 😏

My sons teacher called him a disgrace and said he would never amount to anything! She meant it, she actually said it to me also. He is currently 22 owns his own very successful business. Up yours miss 😜💅
