Jason Kropf (D) became visibly emotional Monday while discussing the deadly shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, where three students and a teacher were killed on Oct. 15. Kropf spoke at a news conference led by Gov. Tina Kotek at the Oregon State Capitol, where officials outlined emergency resources and support for the community, including mental health services, staffing assistance and funding for school recovery efforts.
