You don’t need a gym membership, a complicated routine, or hours of free time to start getting stronger. 🤍 If your goal is to start working out 4 days a week from home, save this routine. It gives you a simple structure so you’re not standing there wondering what to do next. The week is split into 2 lower-body days + 2 upper-body/core days, giving each muscle group time to recover between sessions: ✨ DAY 1 — LEGS / QUADS Goblet squats • heel-elevated squats • stationary lunges • wall sits ✨ DAY 2 — UPPER BODY / PULL + CORE Single-arm rows • bent-over rows • rear delt flys • bicep curls • dead bugs • planks + optional cardio ✨ DAY 3 — LEGS / GLUTES Hip thrusts • Romanian deadlifts • glute bridge abductions • donkey kickbacks ✨ DAY 4 — UPPER BODY / PUSH + CORE Push-ups • shoulder press • floor press • tricep extensions • leg/knee raises • Russian twists + optional cardio You can spread the four sessions across the week instead of doing them consecutively. For example: Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday. That gives you recovery days while still building a consistent routine. And remember: you don’t need the heaviest dumbbells possible. Start with a weight that allows you to control every rep with good technique. As you get stronger, gradually increase the resistance, reps, or difficulty. That progression is where results come from. 💪 Most importantly, don’t wait until you feel “ready.” Your first few workouts might feel awkward. You might modify exercises. You might not finish every set. That’s completely okay. The goal at the beginning is simply to establish the habit and learn the movements. A simple workout you can repeat consistently will usually take you much further than the “perfect” program you never actually start. Save this 4-day plan for your next workout 🫶🏠 📲 Workit App — follow workouts, build your routine, track your activity and stay consistent with your fitness goals all in one place.
