Let it happen organically, and wait until you meet someone in the real world! I dated many people that I met on dating apps but we just had sooo many differences that came to light after a while & it never worked out. Then my friend got me a job bartending with her & my now husband was one of my customers. I actually couldn't stand him at first, but then we started getting to know each other. And bonded over the fact that we had so many things in common. We both had the same taste in music & he was the only person I ever dated that liked all of the same music as me (country & alternative but also knows oldies and 90's music). We eventually became friends & then after a while it was like something clicked & we just fell in love hard before we ever started dating. We've been together almost 11 years now, married for 5. We are best friends, both say the same thing at the same time all the time. 😂 You'll known when you find the one, don't rush it!

I think in these moments letting things fall naturally is best. Example, forcing a connection on a dating app can be weird and unnatural… but if you’re walking in the park or out at a bar and you see someone you find attractive and going up to them. Like you I needed to take a moment for myself and my career and once I felt confident and comfortable with myself… I met my husband at work. With him for 10 years, married for 3 with a daughter. NOT saying it will happen that way for everyone. But you don’t need to force anything
