Ecclesiastes whole point wasn’t to say life itself is meaningless. He was saying a life without God is. Everything you do would be in vain if you don’t keep God at the center of your life. When you make your life about chasing something temporary ultimately, it was meaningless because the thing you were chasing was something that disappeared along with you.

literally ,honestly i think that book main point is for us to not take anything so seriously because in the end it’s all meaningless , don’t rush anything don’t overthink don’t stress because at the end of the day it’s meaningless just take one step at a time and take it day by day

The book is meant to show us how meaningless life is WITHOUT God. Life has soooooo much meaning because God created it. Life is even meaningful without God but the thing is, we need God in order to have the key lens to see it for what it truly is. A depressing, meaningless life is a result of believing a lie.

The way I could have such long conversation about this book compared to Proverbs. I have so many questions. But, I think it’s evidence of the limitations of finite minds compared to the God of all Creation. We can only enjoy what’s in front of us and take steps in the direction God wants us to the best we can

I would like to encourage you to read first case chapter 12 in chapter 11. The reason why is if you read those chapters you’ll know exactly what a hard solid and like when he actually wrote the book of ecclesiastics. He was not writing from a pure heart. He was fighting from complete rebellion against God. And then you read the theme of ecclesiastics, and I considered in my own heart, I considered in my mind. I thought it was everything under the sun. The point of view is from his humanistic nature and rebellion against God. So I hope you’ll read first Kings chapters to give you a better aspect that this man’s heart was in total corruption when he wrote that book
