@kristina.true.crime: This comes after the Texas Rangers investigation determined her death in April to be an accident and no criminal offense occurred. LINDALE, Texas — A small and peaceful protest was held outside of Lindale ISD's Velma Penny Elementary School Monday morning over 8-year-old Adrian Thompson's choking death. This comes after the Texas Rangers investigation determined her death in April to be an accident and no criminal offense occurred. On April 15, she began choking while eating at the cafeteria, ultimately leading to her death in the early hours of April 16. The protest organizers are asking the community to come together to seek justice for Adrian. "I'm out here to get justice for Adrian, and justice for Adrian to me means no other child has to go through this, and that the the staff needs to be held accountable, and that the family needs to be not taking all this criticism online for people that don't want this to happen," protester Daniel Johnston said. One of the sign the protesters held was Amos 5:24, which reads "But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream." #fypシ゚viral #justiceforadrian #trending #foryoupage #texas

it happened in April and we're just hearing about it [Innocent] the child was clearly suffering and begging for help. Being ignored by the staff (from footage of it happening) and the 911 call of the nurse saying she was still choking! the teachers and that nurse failed the child. The people whose job it is to teach children and keep them safe.. 💔💔
