People want him to say eddies gay or hint at it. He can’t. He literally can’t. As far as what the audience has seen his character has said nothing other than he’s straight. Therefore, he has to address Eddie as a straight man. He cannot hint at anything more than friendship between. So idk why people are upset when this interview was him saying it easily can be seen as romantic or a friendship. Literally the only answer he can give and he didn’t even have to say that. People just want to hate for no reason.
