Replay has given both teams an extra out in this series. The rays got the double play in G1 overturned. The brewers just capitalized on theirs.

Look, the Rays can’t compete against the Brewers. There’s nothing that they can do. Brewers will finish them off tonight.

Makes me wonder how many horrible calls in the 70s/80s/90s ruined games because there was no replay

Been making an argument(I know) that the Rays aren’t the second best team in MLB, because the AL was just plain bad this year. Of course I got pushback from Rays fans. “the first 2 games!” They argued. Well, the Brewers had 7 full days off, they just needed to warm up and game 3 was their announcement game. Their offense up and down the lineup and bullpen is just too good for the Rays to overcome. I love Perelta but he has NEVER been good in the playoffs.

I think that replay was the turning point that boosted the Brewers odds of winning the series into the 90+ percent range. or maybe the subsequent hit that drove in the run. the game was still playing but I think it was the turning point in the series

I thought the Aranda and Hicks benching would make some sense or spark something, but they got dog walked anyway.
