Because apparently, preparing for winter in Alaska isn’t just about putting things away. It’s about making sure your house doesn’t turn into a waterfront property when the snow melts. 🫠🌊 Here’s your friendly reminder to CLEAR THE PERIMETER of your house! Keep a path open so you can shovel snow away from your foundation throughout the winter and especially during spring breakup. Because melting snow + poor drainage + your foundation = a crawlspace swimming pool nobody asked for. 🙃 And trust me, the only indoor pool I want is one that comes with a swim-up bar and somebody bringing me a margarita. 🍹😂 One less embarrassing space.
