@cspanofficial: Singer John Legend campaigned for Democratic candidates Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown in his home state of Ohio on Monday and criticized those who spread the false claims about Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield. "They told lies about our new neighbors. But more than simply being false, these lies were told with the specific intent to dehumanize our neighbors," he said. "My hometown is more than a headline. It's a city with heart." #cspan #johnlegend #campaign #election #ohio
