sincerely I do not buy into this, check Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt and tell me if they have players that play in big teams

Osmondyn :
Do South Africa and Congo that qualified for the last World Cup ahead of Nigeria have better individual players? Do they have playera playing for the likes of Madrid, Barca, City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc?
Our problem is more about poor management of the available talent (local and global) not availability/quality of talent.

lookman - atletico
victor osimhen -Galatasaray
chukwueze - AC Milan
tolu arokodare - Ajax
we also have players playing in the English premier league, bundesliga, Spanish laliga, French ligue1 and so on.... the problem with the super eagles is management and favoritism some of the players feeling to big for the team

Jossy Jay :
Oliseh Sunday, I must respectfully but firmly disagree. Today's players are, in my view, superior to those of your era. I say this not as a young man, for I played alongside your generation myself.
The reality is that the competition today is far more demanding. There are no longer any "small teams"; every nation now fields capable, in-form players.
Frankly, if your squad from that era were brought back to face these young men, you would struggle to win even two matches.
The truth remains that there are far more footballing nations today than there were then. So please, enough of this nonsense. I have heard quite enough. You are not better than any of them.
