my nephew saw me doing my nails at 5 years old. he said "I want some!" I said, "nope, nail polish is for girls and youre a boy!" he said "ok" and went back to playing. it really is that easy. he never asked for nail polish again 😂

Because I’m currently pregnant my boys always touch their bellies and say I have a baby in my belly and I simply tell them “no you’re a boy. Boys don’t grow babies in their bellies. Only girls do, but you’ll be a great daddy” it’s really that simple

My daughter has been saying she wants to be a dad when she gets bigger and I tell her you can't be a daddy because they are boys BUT you can do anything daddy does when you get bigger. She just likes the things he gets to do

He either meant he wants to be a parent or he admires what his mom does and wants to do those things. Like drink coffee, run errands, play, etc. Not knowing he can also do those things as a boy/man, but knows that's what mom does. At this age, they are still correlating words with meaning. Mom to him doesn't automatically mean (Girl/Woman). So she's not wrong for correcting/educating him.
