Computers has screwed everything up I don’t know a mechanic anymore that can just listen to the problem and be able to fix it now they all relied on a computer to tell them what is wrong

Honestly I don’t think It matters how hard a truck is drove or babied shit breaks and parts fail every day. brand new trucks have needed to be rebuilt because of internal components failing its the nature of the beast.

Not sure if your aware Markell, try not to run your fuel tanks below a 1/4, tank,hard on the injectors,fuel pump, filters etc...some do not know this..

if it blew when the temp hit 215 there was already something wrong.. 230° and up is where head gasket failure or the head cracks.

A good idea before buying parts is to check on 'ImportYeti' to actually find if they are US manufactured products. Manufacturers misrepresent themselves all the time to charge higher prices for Mexican and Chinese nock-offs. one thing I always did with our cat powered trucks was have the overhead run by Halloween each year. if a cold snap hit before then they'd fog pretty good on a dead cold start. they'd be a good deal cleaner after an overhead.
