Orthodontist here! Please take a breath—white spots are NOT permanent scars. They are early-stage demineralization from plaque trapped under wires. The enamel is just porous, not dead. If you catch them early, they are 100% reversible. We always have patients switch to a nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp) toothpaste instead of regular fluoride. It actively fills those micro-pores and remineralizes the chalky areas before debonding day.
