Casual? Have you not ever played Kingdom Hearts? Some of the bosses have check points and these are some of the hardest bosses I’ve ever fought. Yozora is still to this day the hardest boss I have ever fought. He was more difficult than Isshin and Consort Radahn.

Apparently I’m a casual if I’m ok with this and like it. I mean I’m still at the final boss fight of Onimusha and would love a break from difficult games. I think this game is a great break until I start up Wukong again but that makes me a casual for liking how they handled this game? Souls and souls like games had spoiled the average gamer that all combat heavy games have to just have one difficulty(which has to be quite difficult), no phase checkpoint and not have the game tell you where to go. There are so many difficult games out there and a lot more being produced, relax and try to have fun, if not don’t play the game it’s simple as that.

So many games have checkpoints in boss fights. This isn’t supposed to be a difficult game. You do realise the majority of people who play games are “casual gamers”. Your just thinking of souls likes, rogue likes, and metroidvania’s
