@nelle_world: 📖 RELIGION & THE HISTORY OF WOMEN 🏺 3000 BC: Ancient laws restricted women’s rights and independence. 📜 BIBLE: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands.” Ephesians 5:22 ⛓️ 1400s–1800s: The transatlantic slave trade exploited African women through forced labor and sexual violence. 🇺🇸 1865: Slavery ended, but Black women still faced discrimination. 🗳️ 1920: The 19th Amendment prohibited sex-based voting discrimination, but many Black women remained blocked by racist barriers. ✊🏾 1965: The Voting Rights Act strengthened protections for Black voters. ⚖️ 1993: Marital rape( against women) became a crime in all 50 states, though legal loopholes remained. For thousands of years religious interpretations destroyed women’s lives. End Religious Psychosis 🙌🏾 #religioustrauma #women #black #bibleverse #religion

Simmerlicious🧸 :

religion was created because men were jealous of women being able to have the power to create or end life in their womb so they needed something that could make them feel powerful. every person that ever existed came from a woman, not a man.
