@chloethorpaws: A classroom confrontation went viral—but the missing ending changed its meaning. The clip shows a woman playing a parent entering a classroom, removing a Pride flag and arguing with someone portraying a teacher. Creator Jibrizy posted the full video on Facebook on September 16, 2023. At the end, he appears alongside the performers and explains that the scene was a skit. Shortened versions circulated without that explanation, leading viewers—including prominent political figures—to mistake the performance for an actual school incident. Associated Press, AFP and other fact-checkers traced the footage back to its original context. The confrontation was acted, rather than evidence of an incident involving a parent and her child’s teacher. Our children deserve thoughtful conversations built on facts, fairness and respect. #MediaLiteracy #FactCheck #Jibrizy #ViralVideo #DigitalLiteracy
