I cry to my husband about it all the time. It’s so depressing. Like I have friends they just never reach out. I’m always the one reaching out and making plans. I’m over it. So I stopped messaging and my phone has gone silent. But at least it’s not all on me now to carry the relationships 🤷🏻♀️

im gonna be so fr I was like that all year until I got tired of it and started going out myself and talking to strangers that look interesting. sometimes I get a bad reaction but they were probably having a bad day and thats ok, I met my girl bestie bc I went to the cfa drivethrough and she complimented my hair and it wasnt busy so I complimented hers, then I mentioned that id told her that a week before when she handed me my order last and she laughed and said oh yea I thought I recognized you, then I laughed and said yep, I thought you looked cool and I dont have friends cause I just moved here so I wanted to say so for a bit of conversation, sorry ill let you get back to work, she said awww wait stop youre so cool do you wanna be friends?...... we've since hung out over 30 times

My 20s were very lonely. I did find my girl group in my 30s though, so I promise you there is still hope! It’s just harder to connect with people during an age range where everybody is broke, in school + working two jobs, getting married, or having kids. People are a little more settled in their 30s which I feel is what made it easier for me to form the close friend group that I was unable to form in my 20s.

too real damn but yeah i’m at the point where im just gonna start doing things by myself. putting myself out there, if i get rejected so what thats life. im so over waiting for people to do things in my life, fuck it. i’m there with you though girl, 22 with no ‘best friend’ and even family isn’t close. it’ll get better though hopefully we can all meet someday somehow so we don’t feel like this anymore. ❤️🩹❤️🩹
