When France protests, the whole world seems to hear its voice. The news spreads everywhere, people talk about it, and the world pays attention. But what about Iran? What about the young people whose voices were silenced, whose dreams were taken away, and whose names deserve to be remembered?
What about Mahsa Jina Amini? She was not just a name in the news. She was a young woman with a life, dreams, and a future. Her death in 2022 sparked the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement and protests across Iran and beyond.
Why does it sometimes feel as if Iranian lives matter less to the world? Why do the cries of Iranian families seem to disappear among the headlines?
Our young people are not just numbers or statistics. They are daughters, sons, friends, and dreams that deserved the chance to live. Every Iranian life matters, and every family deserves truth and justice.
Iran is not the Islamic Republic. Iran is its people. Iran is the young generation asking to be heard. Iran is the mothers who want justice for their children and the people who dream of a better future.
Do not forget Iran. Do not forget Mahsa. Do not forget the young lives lost and the voices still waiting to be heard. Our pain deserves to be seen, our stories deserve to be told, and our humanity deserves the same respect as everyone else's
Woman, Life, Freedom. Zan, Zendegi, Azadi.
