my mom's HS did a sit in protest bcz the girls were only allowed to wear dresses and nylons! They won, and we're able to wear pants! So crazy. (1971)

In the late 60’s, my mum successfully led a protest at her Jr. High that led to the girls being allowed to wear pants to school. An absolute icon.

Never thought that stoking were uncomfortable, but it makes sense. And this reminds me when I was a teen in the early 2010s, we wore the super skinny jeans and they would dig into my knee fold. Always took them of when home. That was the reason we started to wear leggings that looked like jeans. There were at least comfortable 😅
