It was one of the best decisions I ever made. 2️⃣ Stop waiting for the perfect market: I’ve been through some great markets and some really bad ones, including 2008. There’s never going to be a perfect time. You have to know your numbers and make the best move you can with what’s in front of you. 3️⃣ Protect your reputation: Deals come and go. Your reputation stays with you. I’d rather walk away from a deal than do something that costs me someone’s trust. 4️⃣ You don’t have to feel ready: I pitched a TV show before I had ever flipped a house. A lot of the biggest opportunities in my life started with me taking a shot before I knew exactly how it would work out. 5️⃣ Think long term: Real wealth doesn’t happen overnight. I’ve always focused on making good decisions, staying consistent, and building things that get more valuable over time.
